About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Account Manager/Technical Sales Representative to join our Northgate Branch in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with strong technical aptitude who enjoys building long-term customer relationships and delivering tailored solutions.
Report to the Branch Manager, you will manage an established customer base while actively developing new business opportunities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow an existing portfolio of key accounts
· Identify and develop new business opportunities
· Provide technical advice and product solutions to customers
· Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations and proposals
· Conduct regular customer visits and site meetings
· Achieve sales targets and KPIs aligned with business objectives
· Collaborate closely with internal sales, service and operational teams
· Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
About You
Skills & Experience
· Proven experience in technical sales (hydraulic knowledge preferred), or account management
· Background in hydraulic, industrial tools, electrical, mechanical, or related industries highly desirable
· Strong relationship-building and communication skills
· Commercially astute with a solutions-focused approach
· Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
· Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
· Current Australian driver’s licence
· Permanent Australian working rights
